About

The Short Version

I was born in a Christian commune, discovered I was Jewish at thirteen, served in the Israeli Defense Forces special forces, and now work in security while writing about identity, faith, military service, and the rising threats I see coming for American Jews.

My Background

I grew up in Roandoak of God Christian Commune on California's central coast, where charismatic theology and spiritual abuse shaped my early understanding of faith and authority. When the commune collapsed, my family scattered into uncertainty.

At thirteen, I learned I was Jewish by blood through my mother's lineage. This discovery sent me into years of wrestling with dual identity: Christian by faith, Jewish by heritage. I immersed myself in Holocaust literature, carrying the weight of six million deaths as my inheritance.

At twenty-five, I moved to Israel and joined the Israeli Defense Forces, serving in Sayeret Palsar Tzanchanim (paratroopers special forces). The experience both fulfilled and broke me, exposing the gap between the warrior I imagined I'd be and the reality of who I was. I left Israel at twenty-nine, struggling with severe depression and a shattered sense of identity.

My Work

I've spent over twenty years in security and executive protection. My clients have included high-profile celebrities, government officials, and corporate executives. I currently work in nuclear security and critical infrastructure defense.

Professional experience includes:

  • Executive protection and close personal security

  • Threat assessment and vulnerability analysis

  • Security planning for high-value targets

  • IDF special forces training and service

  • Two decades of real-world security operations

What I Write About

My memoir, AMERICAN ISRAELI CHRISTIAN JEW, explores the intersection of faith, identity, military service, and trauma. Through this blog and my book, I address:

Identity and Faith: How do you integrate contradictory identities? What happens when everything you believed about yourself proves inadequate?

Military Service and Disillusionment: The reality of serving in a foreign military, the cost of warrior mythology, and rebuilding after failure.

Religious Trauma: Growing up in a high-control religious environment and learning to maintain faith while acknowledging harm.

Rising Antisemitism: Professional threat assessment applied to what I see coming for American Jews. October 7th, 2023 changed everything.

Security and Preparedness: Practical insights from two decades of protecting people and critical infrastructure.

Why I Write

I am that watchman on the wall. That's what my life prepared me to be. I see patterns forming that most people miss or refuse to acknowledge. The infrastructure for the next Holocaust is being built in real time, and American Jews are dangerously unprepared. Christians who love Israel need to understand what that love may soon cost.

I write because staying silent violates everything I've learned about protecting life. Ezekiel 33:6 haunts me: if the watchman sees the sword coming and doesn't blow the trumpet, the blood is on his hands.

I see the sword. I'm blowing the trumpet.

My Life Now

I'm forty-seven, married, and raising a daughter in an increasingly hostile world. I balance security work with writing, speaking, and preparing my family for what's coming.
